Have workplaces become less accepting of non-British colleges since the European referendum?
One in 10 workers not born in the UK have seen a change in acceptance since the EU referendum. A poll, which was conducted by Jobsite, has found that employees from overseas have experienced a shift in different attitudes surrounding them since the EU referendum.
The report, which included 1,011 UK-born and 1,009 foreign born workers, found that nearly 44% of workers wanted their employer to be more accepting of different cultures, and wanted them to do more surrounding diversity within the workplace.
However, 95% of UK workers argued that they believe their workplace embraces diversity. On the other hand, nearly 83% of the UK-born workers stated that cultural differences have created misunderstandings within the office.
