Are your employees happy with your management?
According to a study carried out by IT and services company Vevox, nearly a third (34%) of employees in a large organisation feel ignored and rarely listened to when addressing new ideas. However, 7% argued that they were always listened to without any issues.
Another statistic argued that more than half (57%) were often scared to address their opinions and advice on how to help improve the business. The survey found that 55% of the employees would feel a lot happier and respected if the management listened to the addressed ideas which the employee is putting forward, with a quarter arguing they would voice their opinions more.
However, it’s not only down to the fact that management don’t listen, 30% said that they either were not confident to voice their opinions.
