- Considering the impact of verbal and non-verbal communication
- The benefits of adapting your communication style to your audience
- Communicating clear direction and instructions
Managing performance and development through feedback
- Understanding the purpose and benefits of giving feedback
- Models of giving constructive and motivational feedback
- Upward feedback
- Recognising when and what to deliver when you feedback upwards
- Understanding how best to deliver upward feedback
Delegation skills
- Identifying opportunities for delegation
- Skills and processes for delegating effectively
